These two legends met through a certain dating app that starts with 'T' and ends in 'inder' about 4 years ago. Holly had gone to meet Josh and watch his friends play in their band. Little did Holly know but a bunch of Josh's closest friends and family were there too. Holly wasn't the only one meeting family on the first date. The very next morning as Josh walked out of Holly's bedroom he met her parents for the first time and to quote Holly here...."They had breakfast."
I thought that was kinda funny.
Fast forward a couple of years and Josh & Holly found themselves holidaying in Umea, Sweden. While there they got their 'rent a wreck' car and drove to a frozen lake the area was known for. As they arrived the lake was completely frozen and covered in thick snow. They took some time to slide around and be big kids. It was here that the sneaky pickle tactics began. As they headed back to their cabin Josh tried to convince Holly that he'd lost his phone back at the frozen lake and that they should go back to look for it. They continued on to the cabin and when they arrived Josh ran inside to look for it. Holly was kinda bummed out that they'd need to go back to the lake and be out in the freezing cold but little did she know it was all part of the ruse. They headed back to the lake as the sun was setting and began to look for the phone. While there, Josh walked up to Holly revealing his phone in his jacket pocket. Holly mentioned to me that she thought Josh was upset for not looking in his jacket initially so she gave him a hug to calm him down. She was quick to notice that Josh's heart was beating REALLY fast. As she looked up at Josh she found him looking her deep in her eyes and he began to tell her how much he loved her, pulled out a box and dropped to his knee in the snow. Holly dropped into the snow too and said yes. Apparently Josh hadn't planned to propose then and there but the time felt right. They headed back to the cabin and Josh quickly got the ring that he had hidden inside his socks.
The Wedding Day
In Holly's words the day was filled with stuff that they wanted to have at their wedding. Super casual, easy, rustic and theirs. Keeping out unnecessary formalities but still making it a day where each important moment had its place was key for them. Josh & Holly's wedding was a memorable one filled full to the brim with heartfelt tears of joy, good music, good food and a group of people I won't forget quickly, if ever. It's always a joy for me to be accepted into a group and be considered one of the crew! I remember in our initial meeting I had already got those crazy good vibes when Josh told me that all they wanted for their wedding day was lots of fun with their family and friends. My kind of wedding.
A tonne of awesome people made this day super special for Holly & Josh too so they're listed here as well!

Ready to see a very proud Dad?
After a morning filled with rain, the sun pushed it's way through the clouds and everyone cheered!
These are Holly's Grandparents. The whole day was held on their property!
This is probably the most PG photo from this sequence and I promised I wouldn't show more haha. All I'm trying to show you is that it's ok to be silly and potentially get semi-nude on your wedding day! #freethenipple
Josh's friends supplied to beats all night and killed it!
